Well is there? I did a bit of a search but couldn't find anything. I'd like to see pictures of buses, particularly patina'd 15 windows in SWR/BG.
Thanks in advance. |

Thanks for all the input, I really hadn't thought about searching in the gallery, I really can be quite dense sometimes.
This one here is the kind of inspiration I was looking for. If I could find enough og paint on mine to look like that I'd be a happy boy.

Cheers Everett, almost a little too much bling on that, perhaps I'm mellowing in my old age. Paint wise it's nice though, although I'm under no illusions about finding that much og paint on mine.
If the weather's decent tomorrow I plan on taking mine into work and attacking some more paint. See what I can find.
I might even start a thread on the old girl. See if I can appease the Samba gods by improving things somewhat. |

Like most colors, there is a prime formula but there may be a lighter or darker mixture. Maybe different assembly lines sprayed different variations..
Here is mine:

Grew up in Wisconsin- and I miss those bright yellow license plates! And the "Escape to Wisconsin" stickers that people used to cut the "to" out of to read "Escape Wisconsin". I did- and there are a lot more buses out West! |

Thanks! Hopefully will get lots more done on the westie this wet season in the PNW. Just finished 80 days of no rain up here (well except one quick shower), so more outside stuff done. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |
