Here's what I carry with me on journeys across this Nation.
I'm posting this almost more for me as a reminder of what is where.
Under my back seat (86 "Weekender")
There Also are other things, a roll up table, a tent, etc.......
I use the Home Depot Waterproof boxes found in the tool box isle, not because I need the water protection but because they are divide-able as you desire and sturdy units.
In each one are a collection of items.......
Meter and probes, adapter for injection systems, Hylomar and silicone grease.....
CV grease, hose clamps, JB Weld, extra space! .......
Extra wire, miscellaneous hardware, extra lug nuts/wheel bolts, TPS parts, accelerator linkage spring clips, etc,
Oil pressure switches, oil pressure valve and spring, temp II, cruise control bits.......
Front wheel bearings and seal, rear wheel bearings, torque convertor seal, front calioer kit, rear piston kit, spark plugs, Oil cooler gasket, exhaust gaskets.......
Light bulbs, ignition switch, relays, Idle control relay, headlight switch, fuses, crimp wire ends.........
Specialty tools not normally in my tool bag, sockets, etc. cable and crimp ends, various tapes, spare throttke cable, ZIP ties,.......
Valve cover gaskets live on the floor under the seat......
All of the boxes fit perfectly under the seat........
I also have jumper cables, stock jack (Toyota screw jack lives in the spare tire) voltage convertor, belts, etc.......
The battery compartment under the drivers seat Contains mostly fuel injection components.

Pretrip work.
I haven't pulled a plug since I got it running a couple of years ago.
Thought as a preventative step I would see how things are looking.......
Here are my plugs, 1-4 with #1 on the left..... I'm guessing 12 - 13,000 miles on them.
Edit: looking at this photo, that #2 plug has some interesting growth in it???
I'll be checking that out in the light of day tomorrow!
I'm quite happy with them, they would run many more miles but, they are out and why put old back in? BTW ...... NGK BP6ET
Cold compression.....
#1 - 145
#2 - 145
#3 - 155
#4 - 145
No complaints! (Fuel pump disconnected)
If they were wild off I'd run it and do a hot test, both wet and dry. But no need to do this. Besides, I'm NOT a fan of pulling hot plugs out of an aluminum head, I've seen too many threads cone out with them!
I did order some wires, this is the #1 wire where it rubbed on the injection harness...... see the concave wear by the screw driver tip?
Makes me wonder what other wear spots there are on the wires and if so, which ones are against conductive metal bits?
I'm also going though checking every fuel hose clamp and coolant clamp.
Air Filter is good.
Belts are good.

Dave, those steps you have installed under the passenger footwell and the slider door, have you posted about them before. I would love that one under the slider so my kid didn't have such a hard time getting in and out when wearing his leg braces!

Dave,
I found a website that indicates that the chains you have are too big for a 185R14.
