I am using a stock fuel pump,wondering if someone can tell me what port should be hooked to the main fuel line coming from the tank?There is a port towards the top of the pump and one at the base.

Ken is correct about the old original style fuel pumps.

I thought it might be helpful to add that the new style
pumps are just the opposite.
With the type shown here, the upper is the inlet, and the lower is the outlet...
