I can't figure out why, but for some reason the previous owner cut the spare tire well on the bus. We found a nice donor and now its sorted nice again.

Great job! You can't even tell you touched the floor/spare tire area. _________________ Looking for SO34 parts.

The PO of our bus hacked that area in nearly the same way. He had installed a gasoline powered generator back in the corner and needed the space. He hacked three enormous round holes in the side, corner and engine cover for access as well as air intake/exhaust.
Nice job on the repair. |

Mine seemed to be cut to accommodate a larger wheel/tire, which would make for a real dumb reason to cut her up.
I'm pleased with how it came out, given all the different ridges up top and bracket down bottom that needed to be lined up. |

Just finished polishing the interior aluminum trim pieces with a paste called Blue Magic. Came out pretty good, I'm happy with it.
What do you guys use to protect the polish? Or just leave it as is with the Blue Magic?

After having my car info scattered all over the place, I got involved with a group of folks and started 3rd Revolution, where I can host all of the cars I am into, regardless of make.
Check it out and see if it is useful in helping organize your collections.

More updates on the bus coming...waiting for blocking and paint which tends to take FOREVER. |

Adding some "mud" to the body.
Long panel is now looking sweet.

Going to start pickup up the pace on the bus again. Deluxe trim time.
Trying to straighten the deluxe trim. For the most part, it is straight, but have I have a few small ripples still left. What is the best way to get these out?

Going with the stock colors it came with from the factory with. Turkis blue white. If anyone has a paint code for L289 please post it up. The sample I had mixed locally looked more green then blue. |

That's a '66-'67 wiper motor, if you're bus has a stock nose I don't think it's gonna fit. |

Screw it onto the bus before the body is painted and massage the trim in place to make it perfect. |
