So...if you are thinking of doing the clutch pedal mod you have seen in the classifieds you should do it. I used a simple shoulder bolt 5/16" with a nyloc nut, but a 8mm works as well. EASYYYYY no cutting, no grinding
16 1/2 seconds of welding and done!!! Maybe 17 seconds...
in the end I double nutted the nyloc nut for just in case

Glenn, it took less time to weld the bolt than it would to reattach a clutch cable that came of the hook. We have all done that chore three or four times. I had the tranny out and needed to change the clutch cable so why not. Looks like all the cool kids are doing it.
Its done. Easy and the clutch cable went in like I was shoving a cake in the oven. I even did an extra pedal set I had for Kicks and Giggles. Just made me all happy inside.

Mod may be good if "hook" has failed and you need to have beast running by tomorrow....
