We've nearly gone through the first 1000! I have about 75 left! If you still want a decal, reach out and get those envelopes in the mail!
With the production of the Kombi ending this passed December in Brazil, the Bay Pride Alliance wanted to celebrate the life of the Bus, with a FREE gift to all Bus owners. Heck, all VW owners...
We partnered with Ken Mitchell of Painted Bus Artwerks and reimagined the famous Crying Bus, of Rolling Stones tribute to the Late Jerry Garcia.
Together with Ken, we launched our Crying Bus campaign on Facebook just hours after the last Bus rolled off production. Within HOURS it had hundreds of shares from fans and club pages throughout The United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, New Zealand and for it's namesake, Brazil. Thanks to everyone who pushed, and is still pushing!
The next step in world Bay domination, errr... Bay acceptance, is to get the backs of Bus' stickers up for the 2014 Show and Camping season. We got'chu covered...
Get your own FREE crying bay bus sticker in just a few simple steps...
Get yourself an envelope capable of accommodating a 3" X 3" sticker. (The average size 10 will work just fine)
Write your name and address in the "to" part of the envelope and slap a stamp on it. Then, fold that sucker in half and slip it inside another envelope addressed to:
Michael Hoddinott
48 Tamarack Street
East Northport, NY 11731
Slap a stamp on that one too and drop it in your nearest snail mail box.
When it gets here, I'll drop your FREE sticker in your self addressed, stamped envelope and your own crying bay will be on it's way.
Now, here's the rules.
1) Since these are free, try not to beat me up asking for 10... If you have two buses, three buses, I'll try and accommodate requests based ENTIRELY on how many envelopes I get in the mail. If you would like to request more than one, leave a post it note in your envelope with the number. If I can handle it, I will.
2) In return for your free sticker, we ask you keep the #baypridealliance on the bottom; please don't cut it off. Then, with your sticker on your bus, post photos back to TheSamba, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter or whatever social media sites you're on! If you can include the #baypridealliance hashtag great! This, will help us see how far the stickers travel!
Let's get this going!
Mike
Please, do not reproduce or transfer the logo with the intent on selling it for ANY dollar amount. I welcome and hope people share the crying bay but do not want to see it become an item of market. Feel free to put it on your shirt, on your underwear, tag your kid's lunch box... But please don't sell it. If this is confusing, feel free to email me. _________________ Mike

To review from page (1)
Here are some pics of the last 3 busses made in Brazil.
A sad day!
Like the way all the workers autographed one bus and then the other had pics of them all on it.
These should go into a museum!
Here is the production line empty and all quiet!

DANG! Honda Trail-70's
My first bike was a 1970 CT-70, gold. I grew up on that thing. Years later, passed it to my brother for his kids. Years after that, he rebuilt it a brought it back for my son. Sadly, we sold it after my son outgrew it ...

Well, that’s very interesting. A few photos might be in order. I wonder if it came over and someone used the title from an old ‘77? Does the VIN match? _________________ '03 MV |
