Beautiful! ~ Too bad, Blauchen would look great in a roadside sea scene just like that.
I'm not going to make it out there this year, too risky a drive on my brakes, maybe next year I'll make it, everyone have fun!

Cool man, I'm looking forward to a great weekend and meeting everyone that I can.
And for the record, I know how important it is to have companies pay to help bring shows like this to life. I'm paying the vendor fee required for me to sell my stuff there, so I'm doing my part in helping this show be the best it can be.
Look, I'm just a guy who has a passion for my VW's, and wants the best possible parts I can get. I dabble in buying/selling OG parts when I can, and I took this opportunity that came up to stock and sell some Auto Craft metal....it's awesome stuff! I feel that if your bus has rust issues, you should know ALL of your metal options before you make your replacement panel purchase.
It's no slap in the face or disrespect to KF that I'll be there. And I refuse to have this be an issue......that's just not me. Gerson's a legend....I'd love to meet him. (For what it's worth, I have some KF metal going in one of my buses right now)
I'm just here to check out some buses, buy some parts, and sell some stuff to pay for my long trip down here.

No Dough, Buses, Bikes, Beer & Banana Seats?
So, a couple of weeks ago I mentioned I had a big announcement to make regarding the Bulli Brigade Spring Meet....
I was given some bad news....and then some good news! The city of St. Augustine double booked the grassy site known as Francis Field. I was told that we would have to find another site for the Bulli Brigade Spring Meet unless we could come to a compromise with the other event organizer.
Turns our the other event is called Velo Fest. They are a non profit that promotes safety for bicycle riders. Velo Fest is a three day event and draws thousands of participants and spectators from across the country. So your saying, yeah, I ride a bike, got a couple of old Schwinns I cruise around on....but how will that effect the Bulli Brigade Spring Meet?
Fortunately, this is the first Bulli Brigade Spring Meet and thus we anticipate the numbers to be much smaller than the traditional fall Bulli Brigade. Also, the field is more than large enough to accommodate both events.
I have met with the Velo Fest organizer several times and we have worked on a way to have both events coexist together. We will be parking the buses in rows, nose to tail like we have done in years past and conservatively estimate we can host 110 buses and vendors. But further more Velo Fest has booked several food vendors, food trucks and a Sweet Water Brewing Company Beer tent. There will be plenty of bathrooms as well.
So bring your splitty, your parts, a bike and some money! The Bulli Brigade Spring Meet, No Dough Weekend will be one to remember!

LOL,
Another important thing I forgot to mention! As part of the tradition of the No Dough Weekend, if you arrive in a 1949-1967 VW bus there is no cost to participate. That's right, "No Dough"
Vending/Swapping in a non Split bus or other vehicle is $20 _________________ Call your Cunado's:

Sounds great! Also everyone, don't forget the weekend kicks off tonight at Daytona Aircooled. Last I heard the were having free food, drinks and stuff for us tonight. It's worth it just to stop by and see their "new" building and stockpile of buses. Mt brother and I will both be there in our 67 SC's, so say hi!
