Does anyone know how easy it is to get an original Westfalia propane tank filled in Baja / Mexico? Do they have the adapter for the Westy tank? I'm considering installing a standard RV fill and relief valve.

Thanks

Scott

I have used a half dozen different stations down there over the years and never had any trouble.

I would replace the AutoStop brand valve on any tank of mine just as a matter of course, not because a filling station might have trouble but because they can fail badly and suddenly. I have seen it with my own eyes on 2 different vans.

I only filled once while I was down there, but it was no problem at all! There seem to be plenty of places to fill, relatively speaking.

I drive down every year and have not had a problem finding propane or having my OEM tank filled.
