1. It's only Paris, not France.
2. Based on my limited understanding of Europe, they need to regulate their 1 million** motorcycles and scooters and forget about cars.

They try to do something similar in CA. now and then. Facts show that truly vintage cars produce little of the overall emissions from cars, while it is true they produce a disproportionate share.

How disproportionate though? A 2 stroke chain saw produces more in a day than a beetle in a month of daily use. A few modifications like tuning and a cat brings a 60's V8 into line with a modern car. The guy's on wheeler dealer did this to a cobra replica in the UK. Passed MOT no problem. Don't believe the propaganda produced by the witch hunt going over old cars. Fact is older cars make less money for the government, not more polution.
