Very nice work.
The sale price reflects that. |

now you are just asking for a list of incorrectness, things that would not be in the Bentley.

You can add to the 'stickler's list':
No speed limiter (governor) on carb;
Deluxe horn button instead of standard black one;
Missing pedal (belly)pan;
Shiny painted heat exchangers (only came primed);
Over finished underside sheet metal;
Fuel tank is painted black (they came in a shade of gunmetal gray).
Radial tires look nice; 'originals' would be 6.95 or 7.00 x 14's bias ply
Continentals from the factory;
Radio is a dealer-installed option only
Still, if Bentley ever publishes a web version, use it as is for the photo bus. And make sure the mechanic wears his clean shop coat! |

want more?
-lock plates on front axle beam not installed in the correct orientation (driver's side)
-disc brakes on front (and associated mechanicals involved with that)
-front trailing arms not painted
-wrong style horn
-looks like a distributor for a dual port engine
-not so sure about those copper brake lines
-no insulating wrap on heater tubes
-wrong style sealing grommets for hose junction between fan shroud and rear tin
-etc
there looks to be a lot of missing parts. perhaps, and i don't know why this would be the case but it happens, these pics were taken before final assembly was completed? it's pretty clean though. i'd much rather see a bus like this where it is very clean all over and under, rather than some of these nice looking/"restored" busses that when you look underneath you can tell that nothing was attended to underneath. |

very nice and clean bus. It doesn't worth what they ask for, though. Crazy price... _________________ 1967 Split SO-42 Dormobile |
