What is the best way to lower the front end? Does the beetle front end bolt right up? How much lower will it make it? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

A beetle ball joint front end will bolt up. I believe it gives about a 2" drop.

How about the thing body bolting on to a ghia chassis? I've been told that this is the way to go if you want to slam the front end to the ground.

That is way more work than changing a Beam. Also then you have VIN # issues.
