Anyone got detailed info on what company made this style of Vanagon Camper?
Google searching renders nothing, but there are 3 for sale in the classifieds right now.[/img] |

I did, but none of those vans have the same top. The one I posted goes all the way to the front of the van. None of the Country Homes Campers photos show a top that go all the way to the front like that. |

Also the interiors on the Country Homes Campers do not look the same as what is posted above. |

Thats an ASI Riviera. They were made in Portland Oregon by Riviera Motors through Automotive Services Inc.
The Vanagon version was made PRIMARILY from 1980 through 1984. There *ARE* Rivieras after 1984 but they were special order so they're rare to find. Yours looks like a late one because it has the white "Westy" style interior. The original ones were wood grain patterned.
They use a lot of generic RV style fittings which make them pretty easy to work on and find part for the camper interior.
Your interior also has a fairly rare optional propane heater, I've got one too. If it works, they're REALLY great heaters.
I've got a 1980 Riviera, love it!

Its not a country homes. The Country Homes campers DO use the Riviera poptop but they don't have the front storage area that the Riveras do. |

I forgot about ASI Riviera! I even had a bus with an ASI top too. _________________ 89 Westy 2.1 Auto |
