I did, but none of those vans have the same top. The one I posted goes all the way to the front of the van. None of the Country Homes Campers photos show a top that go all the way to the front like that.

That style of pop top is known as a Riviera, they were build by ASI. The other ones you see are the later model of it I believe (could be wrong on that part).

The lower sections are fiberglass while the upper sections are plastic and they have a tendency to crack due to UV degradation. The below quote has some more general information. They are super cool and originate from the PNW.

"Riviera Motors was the Beaverton, Oregon based regional distributor of Volkswagens. At some point they decided to contract with ASI (Automotive Services, Inc.), based in the Vancouver, Washington area, for Type 2 camper conversions modeled after Westfalia Campmobiles. Why Riviera decided to do this is a puzzle, because Campmobiles sold like hotcakes in the Pacific Northwest."

Thats an ASI Riviera. They were made in Portland Oregon by Riviera Motors through Automotive Services Inc.

The Vanagon version was made PRIMARILY from 1980 through 1984. There *ARE* Rivieras after 1984 but they were special order so they're rare to find. Yours looks like a late one because it has the white "Westy" style interior. The original ones were wood grain patterned.

They use a lot of generic RV style fittings which make them pretty easy to work on and find part for the camper interior.

Your interior also has a fairly rare optional propane heater, I've got one too. If it works, they're REALLY great heaters.

I've got a 1980 Riviera, love it!

Its not a country homes. The Country Homes campers DO use the Riviera poptop but they don't have the front storage area that the Riveras do.

I forgot about ASI Riviera! I even had a bus with an ASI top too.
