Got one in my 55 oval. anyone know much about them? the corner of the faceplate is cracked/missing. would like to find one. Also, looking to talk shop with a oval guru. I have a late 55 model year vin 901xxx. I have ribbed doors, bullets, and 56 up taillights? this right?

you need the 55 only tail lights they look like the 56 but the lenses are egg shaped

What you have is a May '55.... they changed to the 56 and later lights that month for US models... not sure when that month though... I doubt anyone would argue with you if you didn't have the 55 only lights
