Just picked up this 65 Kombi from Alaska. Had to drive to Seattle and pick it up from the Port. Was a little discouraged to see that the bulkhead had been cut out but the bonus was the custom mounted original 58-61 swivel seat mounted on the passenger side. In addition to the Swivel seat it had Spoon latches on the popouts and Deluxe coat hooks. Plan to convert to walkthrough with some walkthrough metal I have and put a camper interior in the back. It's a little crusty but all in all it's a cool bus.

This is the first time I have shipped one by boat. I was a little nervous and thought it might be a pain but it was pretty easy and not to expensive. That port is a busy place but they get you right in and out in a hurry. |
