Thanks - it was a blast...our Mid is a 2nd Class (Jr.), so one more year for us...

Here's a video to give you an idea of the excitement...both teams running onto the field with flyovers...awesome! Applause :

We had a great spot and a nice turnout for cold beer and jambalaya yesterday. The Broncos didn't do their part, but the pregame was plenty fun.

My 60 watt solar panel continues to impress, keeping things above 12.5V while the Group 27dc battery ran the fridge, the TV (via inverter) and the stereo at full bore for around four hours before the game.

As always, I had several folks stop by to take a tour and talk Vanagon, which I never get tired of.

Threw a little tailgate for the Colorado Rapids/Portland Timbers MLS game on Saturday. Those games are surprisingly fun to attend and parking is free.

We set up right next to the stadium and had lots of folks come by and talk Vanagon, including a couple from Loveland who had the very same model as mine.

We're number one!

Here is a picture of the "Battle of Bristol" tailgate. The football game was at the Bristol Motor Speedway between Virginia Tech and the University of Tennessee.

It was a blast! People loved the bus!

I have multiple people walk by and say stuff to the effect of, "your van is here every single year. It wouldn't be Widespread Panic at Red Rocks without it."

Makes me smile.

Ha! I was asked that question multiple times. With the fridge running and the stereo at full tilt for hours, I need to have my solar panel in the sun!

Maybe next time just go to a Patriots game-- cuts off almost 1/3 of the trip. Aren't they in the same division?
