Well I have had my van for 4mths now, recently sold my truck. So now van is my DD. It has run great, until today.. I shifted 3rd and felt it miss, tried accelerating, and yes it missed. As I downshift I see a flash of batt. light. I turn back-running poor under accell, feels like no fuel, or spark under load. I make it home.
I immediately I inspect, I find the hall sensor wires not seated in distributor. I remove cap, visual inspect-looks ok. reinstall wire grommet, cap. I do not see any other issue. I am not convinced this was the problem, but.. It runs good now, no hesitation.

Since I don't have an alternative 4 whl vehicle, I want to replace parts that can leave me stranded and save good used for backup. So what would be smart to replace-without replacing everything?
Here's my list: Hall sensor-just sensor-or complete distributor?
Fuel pump, fuel filters, throttle switch, ignition switch, batteries - main & aux, alt. wiring ,

I already have new gas tank, seals, sender. Oil pressure gauge kit, RMW stainless coolant pipes-waiting to be installed.
What am I missing or would you recommend I update? Question
