I need help, i wanna take off the taillights and replace them with snowflakes. I have the 3 wire. 1962.

If you do this I would suggest using the led replacements over the factory bulbs. Well unless your staying six volt but they may be making them for six volt by now.

6 volt led bulbs are available for the snowflake tail lights. They actually are more like a custom circuit board that installs in the tail light housing and replaces the sockets. I used them on my 1960.

The difference in brightness is remarkable both in day time and night conditions. Brake lights are bright and very noticeable.

A real safety plus that I highly recommend especially for a 6 volt system. They are not inexpensive but the extra safety factor they provide I think justifies the cost.
