I have a small leak coming between tranny and clutch housing and from one of the four bolts from the clutch housing next to the drain.

Any thoughts?

The photo is not from my Syncro, but from another Syncro. The leak is coming from the one of the four bolts. Its not leaking from the drain port. But leaking from one the bolts you can't see from the picture. Its coming from the upper right.

my guess is the rear main seal start going bad. I've seen many vanagon leaking like that for long time with no noticeable effect. The clutch may slip when the leak becomes severe. Usually they replace the seal when doing the clutch.
