Even if it is bright orange, pictures are going to help you the most. Please put some up when you get a chance.

Sorry to hear about your van, I hope it's found soon.

I will be on the lookout in Seattle. I ran into a guy a year ago at the Wedgewood Ale House with a nice orange van, we chatted briefly. Same person?

You could offer a finder's-fee to local cabbies (detailed here, 2nd paragraph).

Sucks sorry!

Will watch for it around here (just in case it got through the border before you reported it). And, on CL/Kijiji here/there I'm looking for myself anyway...

I'll keep my eyes peeled on Bainbridge/ Poulsbo area. Really sucks, I hope for the best outcome.

Again please, PLATE NUMBER would help. I know lots of people blur out their plates on photos that they post but I don't really know what harm can come from it. In your case, I see NO way that there would be danger from a plate number being posted.

Hate to have some innocent guy in another orange van harassed or to waste the cops time.

Wrong year and a manual not an auto.
This is why people need pictures, good descriptions and a plate number.

Hopefully you get your baby back.

Sorry! Didn't think it was the same one, looks like that ones has been sitting there for awhile, but better safe than sorry. Good eye on the standard, sorry didn't notice that and forgot that 81s were air cooled.

I can only tell 86 from 82 based on head lights & air vs water cooled, but this one has 86 head lights and grill for water cooled, not bright orange either...

I've now checked all of CL for the surrounding area and that's all I saw...and nothing new for me either. Rolling Eyes

Hoping yours turns up...

Too cold for camping here right now, so either joy riding or to steal things and then put them inside the easy to hot wire old vehicle.

Don't forget that new cars have ignition kill switches, which only a more experienced/smart car thief can easily get around...

tam

Forgot this one, not really what I'd call orange, but interesting they only put a couple pics of the back of it.
