Kind of crazy, You would think it would be a lot rougher after all those years as a gravity wagon. |

Smart man posting up those videos with contact info, looks like you have scored a few doing that.
So are you going to restore it or flip it? _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Preserve/Restore. The vision I have for it is still unfolding. Below the belt line is going to be 90% original paint. Because of all the welding done above the belt line I will be painting the SWR back and then airbrushing in some Chestnut Brown and buffing back through to make it match the original paint. Stock height with Bias Ply White walls on shiny black wheels. That's the direction I am heading right now. We will see how it goes. _________________ CHECK US OUT ON YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsaYK9P6m68

They call that a "sympathetic restoration," I've done that on a couple buses that's a great idea. Are you going to chase down the seats, panels, etc etc? Should be a sweet bus when done, congrats on the find and look forward to seeing the progress when you get to it. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Wow!! That's a fantastic find, cool video and it looks about a billion times better with all the windows visible.
Nice Mouse Grey in the back too

You are correct on the mandatory pop out of the sunroof shot. Can't wait to try that screaming down the highway at 55 mph. |

Looking for all glass right now. Need a front seat, and all interior panels. I have a middle and back seat that I plan to use. If it's missing in the pics I need it so if you have something you want to sell hit me up and maybe we can make a deal. Thanks Bonecollector. Here is a short motivational vid clip for dawerks. Enjoy!!!

Sweet find and great work! However, I can clearly see you have too many VW's. Pushing them in and out and trading things around like that... Whew! Must be terrible going through all that every time you wanna work on one... _________________ '69 Bay Window Deluxe
