These are so cool, I am excited now to get started on mine. It needs alot but I just am in love with it, I want to customize the insides, and I wonder what others have done. Can we see pics of your interiors folks? Especially the roof area, lets see the high top interior decor! |

Thanks for the link,,, I love me some Highroofs.
Red Fau Veh,, yes my bus "did" have some funky cabinets,, but were to far gone to save. The whole bus was outfitted with them,, amazing but well weathered. Old marine grade wood about a 1,000 pounds worth. |

I know that bus and I can almost guarantee that it does not have under 20 miles on the engine. That bus sat outside in the Humboldt rain for over a month in front of my local VW mechanic. The interesting thing is that I don't think that they trailered the bus to and from Lewiston CA (110 Miles each way) to the mechanic in Arcata. The bus does not look as good in person as it does in these pictures and is definitely not a "2-Very Good". _________________ 1966 Velvet Green Standard |

It is even uglier in person . The "go army" sticker on the back really ads to it _________________ 1966 Velvet Green Standard |

Here's Burt, sporting his Christmas wreath a few months back.
The interior is out of my other 78 Westy. I put in some fluorescent lights and a vent fan.
