Hello everyone. So this chunk of plastic is out of a 92 toyota 4x4 pickup, but should be the same from 88-94 I believe. It's actually from a truck I own, saw it on the shelf and thought it might be the perfect size. Pictures are pretty self explanatory. There were some tabs on the bottom I cut flush, then drilled a hole through the spot marked with the red arrow. Ran a piece of wire through that drilled hole and under the next support. Then I simply wired it to the panel under the radio. Granted, I know this is not "clean" in any way, but just thought I'd share the idea. I can see how if it were the same color and the top edge was trimmed and filled it would look decent. The nice thing about it is that it takes all of 5 minutes to do and it's non-invasive, so if you don't like it just take it off, no holes to worry about.
