I guess well just chock that up to 2 votes then.
"Cities"-Phish
Kinda has that gypsy message..."find yourself a city to live in"
I am currently between towns and enjoyed this song as I drove up to Spokane from Oregon recently.
Mo better? |
Cities. That's actually a Talking Heads song. |

Okay, 2 years and 10 months later --
Chevy Van - Sammy Johns (1973)
Lyrics -- http://lyrics.wikia.com/wiki/Sammy_Johns:Chevy_Van
Link
Quote from the following web page -- http://adage.com/article/special-report-chevy-100/...re/230685/
Bill Ludwig, CEO of Campbell-Ewald -- the agency that held the Chevy account for a staggering 91 years until the spring of 2010 -- said that "back in 2006, when we were researching this, we'd found that, up to that point, there were 545 songs that had been written about Chevys, or that referred to Chevys." He says there are now about 700 Chevy songs.
That means there are over 650 really obscure Chevy songs. |

Believe it or not, for 20 city blocks, you could hear that Mercury roar.
I surprised that anyone here knows about Don Walser. I used to sit next to him at church most of the time. He couldn't sing a hymn to save his life, but when he was at the Broken Spoke there was no one like him. I miss him. _________________

Why not go back further perhaps to the beginning with the song " Ride with me in my merry Oldsmobile" from 1905. My grandmother born in 1898 knew this tune and sang it for us back in the 60s. Look it up. |

Although technically not a car song I thought of "Gasoline Alley" by Rod Stewart. His second solo work 1970. |
