Thank you all for you comments. I cant wait to start making memories with the family in the bus. They deserve some family time after this build.
Got the long panel and door panels in today.

I have been quietly following this thread for a while now and I want to congratulate you to this fantastic bus and all the great work and research you have done so far. It’s become my favorite story on TheSamba!
The very detailed photos are really helpful and inspiring
for my own Westy restoration project.
Thanks for sharing, Paul!!!
Looking forward to future updates… _________________ Chris

Thank you everyone for following along. I have been driving the bus around town just to break in the motor and work out all the bugs.
I had a very good friend Joey (scvw) come by saturday with another missing peice for the subhatch. after visiting for a while we decided to take a spin around the block.
I also want to thank Todd and Earl for the first two stickers to go on my bus
Than pulled ot back in the gataget

Had a good time as always Paul. For the ones that follow this thread let me say that, having driven it, this is the smoothest driving bus I've ever had the privilege to drive. Everything is spot on and adjusted perfectly. Brakes. clutch, steering, engine and shifting is as slick as butter. I have no doubt it's gonna be very dependable and will give you miles of smiles. Awesome man, it's perfect! Such a relief to drive it after all that work!
Still trying to decide which window to put my Westfalia Mafia sticker. Leaning towards the wardrobe closet which is what it looks like you decided too.
Yes, Bulli is going to be wonderful _________________ Jack Stenner
