I am running a 1600 SP with a big nut tranny. Not enough power for long trips but works ok for 30 mile trips. I can run about 50 MPH without pushing it too hard.
I will have to upgrade the engine if I want to take it to the mountains and in longer trips
Here are a few interior pics. All original exterior and interior

Wow that trailer is beautiful , original and comes with another tent! Never have seen a westy tent in blue and white before. Please take care to store that tent in some mouse proof container when not in use! |

I don't know if you already know this, but in Germany trailers have (had) a top speed of 50mph. A very safe speed and completely doable with a stock bus. _________________ regards

A happy day today. The PO text me several pics of the bus and the flat top tent setup.
He has looked for the sides but could not find them. _________________ SOUTHERN INTEGRITY AIRCOOLERS

Thank you all for the kind words. It was a surprise for sure and oh how I wish the bus was in that great of condition when I purchased it
I have been diligently working on a flat top tent with the sides.
Here are some pics set up before I installed the leather straps
