interesting.. your bows have vertical keyways? my Jan 56 bus has horizontal keyways. FWIW, vertical keyways are normal.

Worked on the wardrobe cabinet door, I assume someone put A mirror on the door very early in the bus' life. You can see the difference in the finish.

The PO also took off the original hardware and put a skeleton key lock system on all the cabinet doors...aargg

You can see the wood planks in the door, not sure if you can see, but the ends are painted.

I am trying to decide on the color of the bumper brackets on the front bumper as well as the bumper brackets and splash pans on the the rear bumper.

It appears to me that on Greg's beautiful bus the bumpers are tan, but the front bumper brackets are yellow? I could not find a pic of the rear bumper brackets and splash pans.

here are some pics of my rear bumper brackets.

On the yellow bus it came to Westfalia with the bumpers installed - I would assume the bumpers were all primer, and the splashpans were probably black.

When it was painted they removed the front bumper and left the brackets installed. On the rear bumper they removed it as a complete unit - with the brackets and splashpans. That unit was painted brown inside and out.

Yes, that is a snowflake middle seat kick panel - it has since been restored and was sold to staceyz for his deluxe. That's Everett's doublecab in the background - the shop looks a lot different now.
