When I first saw this I thought what a crazy cheap engine build this could be....Then I remembered a coupla years ago buying a bunch of 4 inch c-clamps from Harbor Freight.....they were all pretty for a while then I noticed after some use they would get cocked sideways from the pressure and would fail and fall off the work piece. I picked one up and the outside all painted and smooth completely hid the metal matrix inside....looked like 10 different kids of metal all angry at each other for being forced to fuse together... full of voids and all matter of decomposition.
Do ya think the inside of this metal on these parts look like that too ?
As Alice said....curiouser and curiouser !!! _________________ Looking for SP Kadron manifolds...please !!

The Chinese flat out lie about the specs of their products. I have seen this first hand. Sometimes the stuff is ok and sometimes it is horrid.
I use auto blade fuses in a product I manufacture and have found a cheap Chinese fuses can pass twice the current it is rated for.
I tell my costumers to only use bussman or littlefuse and if the transistors fail from using the China crap I won't warrantee it.
I make slot car controllers and Chinese have thankfully stayed out of my market.

Swapped the Compufire for a Bosch blue and some points I had sitting around, started 1st crank. Took her out for a drive, pulls harder, more RPM, and runs smoother. I think I'll be sticking with points from now on. |

The # on the crank says 4374....I assume that means it's a 74mm stroke, hence the A pistons. _________________ Looking for SP Kadron manifolds...please !!

But the pistons say 94x69 or does the 69 not mean for 69mm crank? |

74+A pistons = about a .090 cylinder shim depending on what deck you want&the case you use,+- .030. |
