Hi,

I've been storing my 67 Beetle for close to four years in a garage at my partents house. The thing is is that as the pipelines for the hot water runs through the garage it tends to be rather hot there, around 25°C/77°F.

Am I possible ruening the rubber parts in my 67 by storing it in this place? What is the ideal heat for staggering a Bug?

Thanks, Al.

Unless it's extreme I don't think temp is an issue, I would be more worried about exposure to humidity levels and Sun light, or UV

Yeah a conditioned garage would be nice.... Here our garage temps drop and raise with air temps, and with greenhousing in the summer sees temps deep into the 100's. You are worrying too much. Just clean and condition your rubbers...... Very Happy .weatherstrips. After cleaning I use a thin coat of GM dielectric grease.

As for your answer ideal garage temps would be in the 60's....
