What I have done, which is more of a hassle and more expensive, is get a pair of adapters from K&N that I had to hog out and drill for the 2 small mounting screws on the top of the kads that gave me a nice base to clamp one of their universal filters on. There's better ways to do this, but you get the idea.

I have body clearance issues on my buggy and found conical K&Ns in their universal section that are angled, so the through bolt wouldnt work. But looks like any K&N that has the right sized hole would work with a hole drilled in the top.

If you have to use something unique, go here http://www.knfilters.com/universal/universal.htm

Once you find the model number, do a search on the 'net and you can usually find a pretty decent price.

Swapped the Compufire for a Bosch blue and some points I had sitting around, started 1st crank. Took her out for a drive, pulls harder, more RPM, and runs smoother. I think I'll be sticking with points from now on.
