Hi,

I have a typ 3 with kadrons and shorter air filters. It's only the filter element which is shorter compared to the classic Kadron filters. As there is no reference on the filter elements, can someone tell me if I can install K&N filter elements in the Kadron round filter case and what is the reference ?

Thanks,

Bernard

When I had Kads in my type-1 Ghia, I used these K&N elements. They were just enough to get the filter in under the left side decklid spring.

But there is no way they would shorten things up enough to fit under a type-3 engine cover. Not even close.

I've got kadrons on my fastback and the previous owner made them work. They've got a custom linkage but they had to smash the tin in in one spot. Either of you guys know a linkage that would work? I just got new tin and am degreasing it and to avoid having to make a dent in my tin I'd like to get the right linkage before I put it back together. Either of you guys have any insight?

As you can see its a Mickey Mouse linkage. It functions properly, but I'd like to beef it up a bit and try to get something new. The previous owner bent the throttle connection at the carbs to make it pull smooth and I'd like to fix that.
