So, for almost two years, I've been working on building this:
And I put my Notch in 4wd today and drove her up to the shop...

Upstairs is an office/guestroom/mancave
Has a full bath, and kitchen.
And, a view...
Will have a deck, when finished...

Which neighbor's pool? I think I'm the only one without one... I will fix that one day... _________________ Phillip Bradfield

I didn't want the stairs to take up any space in the shop. I really, really tried to figure out how to take up a minimal amount of space, but no matter what configuration I came up with, it made a lot of space unuseable quickly. _________________ Phillip Bradfield

The lift will be up front, in the middle. Already in the plan. _________________ Phillip Bradfield

Well done on the building works.
I am almost finished my new room in which I will be assembling cars and engines (seperate to the workshop) so I know how exciting it is!!
I figured that if I have nice cars and engines etc, I need somewhere nice to keep them. Engines in the house (I have 2 engines in 1 of the bed rooms at the moment) is not the answer....... _________________ Aaron

WOW, that is sweet! ...and a lift coming too. So jealous...but happy for you!
I so wish I had room to add on a shop to work in...my wife is getting tired of her car getting kicked out of the garage every time a new task/project comes up, but oh well!

Looks good, but how big is it? The plan drawing doesn't list a size.
Hopefully it'll be big enough for a while, until you fill it full of stuff (my problem with my 24 by 24 shop/garage). Thank god I've got a 2 story shed, and a couple of smaller ones in the back yard. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

I am thinking the same thing. one day I might have to extend my shed and separate that area into a clean/show room.
My shed is always getting dusty when I work on stuff. |

Lack of space (& $$$) is my primary hindrance in the hobby.
I'd marry a troll if she came with that kind of space. _________________ Everything known to man has been written.
