Has anyone used Cip1's engine lid? It looks like a good deal, but you know how it is when something looks too good to be true. Their apron is also interesting, as I need both for my '66.

Thanks!

I'm not sure of the cip1, but i bought a Autocraft apron for my 1966 and it was spot on. Same as the original in terms of the metal and the construction. It was not cheap, but the quality is there.

Go with Autocraft. You will know the quality as soon as you hold it in your hands. Amazing how accurate they make aprons looks so like the originals..
Great product.

The link below is to my bus project page. If you scroll down you will see the original compared to the Autocraft. Time permitting, I will bolt it up and take a few shots of the fit on the bus, it is currently not on the bus.
