Had my sliding door leaning against garage wall. Looked real good, pulled the dents, filled with minimal Evercoat, primed, wet sanded....looked real good. Then my dog pissed on it. Search function provided no help. I know this has happened to some of you, can I just wash it real good or do I have to sand it off? It is NOT epoxy primer.
It's border collie/ aussie shepherd mix piss, if that makes a difference. |

Piss is pretty corrosive. I would probably sand back down and re-apply. BUT, I am also a lazy ass and might leave the piss as character

i have a coonhound/beagle mix. i wouldn't really shoot the dog. clean off the piss with dish soap.
you were going to epoxy it as a wet on wet before you painted it anyway, right?

Dogs are cool, rough it up with a little sandpaper spray a little more primer.....give the pup a treat while its drying......
