Enjoying the van, wanted to change out the transmission oil to make sure everything is fresh. It seems jiffy lube (found receipt in the glove box from a while back) has torqued the fill hole to 9000 ft/lb. It's so tight it busted a welded on nut, and when I used the impact driver it started stripping out the plug so I stopped while I was ahead.

Yes its the correct size tool, yes I am bleeding. Any crazy suggestions? torch? Jb weld the alen key in there?

If the oil level is below the plug, you can heat the plug red hot and then let it cool and it should come out easily.

Or you can get a hose and pump and drain it from the filler hole ... May not get all the sludge at the bottom this way though ...

Cheers,
Mike
