I hope to see more too!

I caught a few pics in the "Volksrod" thread but it was hard to grasp the overall vision; now it's all coming together for me and it looks awesome.

I love the attention to detail - all the holes are nicely radiused and everything fits together so cleanly - you must have a ton of fab time into it.

Keep up the great work!

- Kris

Some hood latch/headlite bracketry progress. Using (so far) a 1937 Ford tail light housing, cut in half to make it short. Then using Ford 8N & 9N Tractor grease caps to form the latch assy. Then using a stock VW Hood Latch cut down to its basic elements. Nothing written in stone just yet.

I guess I don't go in the "Other VWs" area often enough, because I hadn't seen this thread yet. Good Gawd...I absolutely love this Vrod. I knew you guys were doing some sick metal work down there...but damn! Just beautiful. Applause

Great fab work, as always. Do you have more pics of the chopped roof? I'm planning mine out and making a list of do's and dont's. Yours looks full of do's.

Thanks man. Here are some Top pictures. I will try to go from old to current.

The top starts like this. Then we found a donor oval roof. Then some other roof (I think a 65).

Here are some earlier shots of how the pan gasket gets handled around the shifter coupling. The tranny and the torsion housing was raised.
