So what your saying is, it needs to be painted lite blue. That may happen. 83% chance.

Light blue belongs on a Prius. Laughing

This thing is looking great, this car screams for something a bit more aggressive than light blue though. But your vision & execution has been great so far.

I dunno - with aggressive as the car is gonna be, light blue may be an interesting choice.....

blue looks good on nothing. Shocked but....a black base coat, with cool liquid silver applied over it, then sanding pad pulled stright to remove ever so slight amount of sliver to give it the brushed aluminum affect would look awesome...Im thinken both of my speedsters will be done like that.....if it ever gets done. well..the one Im driving daily wont be sanded it will stay cool liquid silver. but I could see yours done like that...and thats about the only way it will look right Shocked Wink or off coarse candy red with candy gold striping....kinda like some of the old biwing hotrod planes...single wing too!!!or....both brushed aluminum and the candy!!!!!

I hear ya, but, you gotta have the wheels for candy colors, black is still a high possibility, always has been. Light blue doesn't demand too much from wheels. The dash may be medium blue metal flake regardless of body color. That being said, the only way it might get painted at all is with a substantial win at lottery.

Just read the whole thread thru start to finish..

Love what you're doing.

My vote goes to something with some color.
Just because it's a volksrod doesn't mean you have to paint it black.

All those guys must think there's a law out there or something.. Razz

The local paint shop here has a bunch of cans of 'oops' mixes on a big table.
Super cheap...

Wink

I vote for medium blue, heavy metal flake, baby blue interior, sparkle seats.
I have some left over metal flake from my brothers wedding. Some of it fell into the vents in his truck on his wedding night.🤔
I could send it to ya. Just open carefully.

OK, thanks, but moving on. Qtrs are still getting blocked all day every day for weeks. Black is likely due to paper spending money.
