From what I've seen discussed here, the way this system functions, power bleeders do not get the air out of them very well.. find some poor dude with big thighs and head for the right rear... Razz

Adjust the push rod for about .040" play between it and the MC piston.

Single or dual circuit??

If that is a vacuum power bleeder, open the trash can and insert. Then invite a buddy over for some beers. Before providing the beers have your friend help you bleed the brakes.

I installed a new single circut ms.the power bleeder is a pro motive bleeder. It looks like a weed sprayer. To adjust the push rod ,how do i know when the rod is pushing on the ms?Currently there is no resistance on the pedal.

Is the power bleeder a vacuum or pressure type???

Turn push rod to rear a bit. Grab the rod with pedal in full back position. Should be able to wiggle push rod a little up and down when rod tip not in touch from the MC piston. If you have wiggle move the brake pedal by hand a little till rod is not wiggable. Then move pedal back and note at push rod how much play.

Did you adjust the brake stars for a bit of brake drag at each wheel??

Yes, you need a bit of drag so each shoes does not move about when trying to push the brake fluid.

adjust the brakes and do a manual bleed! Grab a friend, neighbor, parent, sibling and do a manual bleed for crying out loud. Power bleeders suck on these old things and are hit and miss.

I bought a motiv power bleeder too...didn't work. What did work was a buddy at the bleeder nut and me at the pedal. The key is to make sure the brakes are adjusted properly.

Think you need to carefully post a full report on how you are bleeding the brake system step by step. Just telling us you tried a bunch of times does not give us much info to help you with.

You shouldn't even be thinking about bleeding your brakes unless they are first properly adjusted.
