does anyone have a photo of how a front bumper with side steps should be installed from under the bus? i might have to create my own holes and i want to see what the original set up looks like.

Where you see those "wings" stick out you put a bolt in each one into the frame of the Bus.

thank you Very Happy !! that is what I figured I'd have to do. I was under there
today and I noticed that where they probably would go is completely rusted out. do you think i need that little rubber or paper piece that goes where the step and bumper connect?

Depends on how pretty your bumpers are and how attached you are to the paint, no need if it's ratty.

If you cut off outside of dogleg like I did. There is a heavier bracket inside that has the nut side of step fasteners. My brackets were not rusted away so I reconstructed my lower doglegs using them as guide for the holes.
