My buggy has the Torque Thrust TTO natural finish and bolt on knock-off spinners.....not painted like the Torque Thrust D's. 15" x 8.5" rear and 15" x 5" on the front.

Here is a shot I don't think David has. Shows the rear better.
It is pearl paint. Custom mix and expensive. Based on Stacy David's Rat Roadster, Jolly Rancher Green Apple. You can see the gold's showing on the corners of this picture. It is hard to capture to color on film, it is wild looking in person.

Joescoolcustoms or Vwbowtieman do you recall or know what brand of tires are on the green buggy? Like the look and tread pattern. What I’ve been looking for.
Thanks. |

I could be wrong, but I think those are B.F. Goodrich on the front, and Mastercrafts on the rear. You should check out the build page on that buggy, great! |

The front tires are BF Goodrich 155/80/15 and the rear tires are Mastercraft 275/60/15. |

I'll just drop this here in this revived thread. Restored original Mickey Thompson Torque Thrusts, 8.5" rear, 6" front.

Those look great!
I didn't recall Mickey Thompson made mags back then, cool.
Looks like they called them Eliminators

They only come with one offset per size. You'll need adapters, etc.
TT O have original style spokes. Torque Thrust D have curved spokes to clear disc brake calipers
14 x 5 is the best front size for a buggy, they don't make TTO in 14 but easy to find vintage used
15 X 7 or 15 X 8.5 rear
