^^^whoa^^^ is that a split window with a 68+ decklid? Whats going on here?!? my mind is exploding! Can we ship some e-85 etanol fed VW engines for our old bugs up here to the US? The timeline/progresssion of the Brazillian VW Fusca is very interesting to me. Not alot of info in English out there...even the VW museum in Wolfsburg had nothing for me....

You ought to scan that manual some time, and send it into Everett for TheSamba's archive of Owner's Manuals, which doesn't have any from the 1980s!

I'm think that split window is modified, All the split window in Brazil came germay. 1959 begins production of the Beetle in Brazil.

Our ethanol engines are powered by E100 (100% Ethanol, with no Gasoline). That fuel make more horsepower, because you can use bigger compression ratio.

I can try to ship E100 engines, but Brazil have complex laws for export.

Yes,
VW bus is "Kombi",
Fastback typ3 is "TL"
and squareback is "Variant".
