Hit there
I would like to know what are the prices for a Barndoor 1954 here in Europe. Condition is good, got a new paint a couple of years ago (not original color). the interior is all original and complete. Engine is of a 1956 T1.. Body is in good condition. it has two (!!) extra air-vents on the roof...here some pictures:
thanks and best regards

Not sure on price but the driver door is wrong the vents on the roof are correct and the interior looks super super nice and don't forget that optional rear opening hatch is correct also looks like a super cool bus other than that paint job _________________ (20-024785)Ambulance (20-037784)truck (20-035850)panel

Then indentation underneath the door handle is too big they started that and 55 you might want to find out the Vin number because the pop out latches that are on the inside of the bus are 53 and earlier I believe The rims are also later and it has a truck rear bumper _________________ (20-024785)Ambulance (20-037784)truck (20-035850)panel

looks really nice on the inside, looks like it drives, very cool, take it to some shows, write down what people tell you you need to get it back to original, as in doors, wheels, mirrors, paint, some bodywork, bumpers, etc
At least you get to drive your barndoor project. and it already has a bunch of stuff correct.
congratulations _________________ regards

Take care on the inspection of this bus, it obviously has a lot of wrong and mismatched parts and probably lots of body filler. The crease between the front wheel housing and the lower side panel is not visible anymore, so they either filled it with bondo ( probably over some rust holes, which usually occur in that area) or they welded it shut with sheetmetal. also the lower windshieldframe metal parts seems to be filled in also. Usually you should be able to see the layers of body panels from production. IMHO this bus is looking way too 'round'. Either a really bad paint job preparation or lots of badly repaired spots under the paint. Caution !
if it's a driver and mechanicals good enough for vehicle inspection (depends where you live and want to register it) I'd say the bus will be priced around or over 20k €. But, I think, if you tear this down for new paint, it will start you a never ending story. more pics from the undercarriage, engine compartement, front axle area would tell the truth. _________________ Hotrods, Fords, Veedubs and Triumph Twins !

Doesnt look like a very European licence plate to me. A Birth certificate from Wolfsburg on the Chassis number could tell us a lot more about this bus, and implicate the value too _________________ To catch a fish, you must first think like a fish.... |

It's a real shame the outside doesn't match the inside as that's superb.
There looks to be a lot of filler on that bus, I hope it hasn't had lots of really bad metal work done to it. Good luck! _________________

I personally know this bus. This is a typical South American bus. This bus has lived a hard life. The nose is starting to slope down as the front frame is bending, hence the front door alignment and widening rain gutter. It does have a beautiful 6 leg OG upholstery middle seat. _________________ New Vintage Specialist.

Maybe. South American busses have had a much more intensive life than something that was parked in the 60's, like most of the Swedish barndoors for example. Until we can see whats under the recent paint its impossible to really tell how good or bad it is. Do you have more pictures? _________________ To catch a fish, you must first think like a fish.... |

It does look very complete which is good but there seams to be a lot of filler, the dash shot in your gallery shows a few bits that don't look quite right by the door pillar and mid dash to screen upright area. |

...the corners from the pick up bumpers is sharper bent!
The bus bumper corner got the same radius as the body corner.
Take a few looks at the barndoor gallery |

looks like you will need a new spare tire, it's bald, and the motor is a 40 horse (34PS)
for a driver that is actually a great choice btw _________________ regards
