Trying to research some history and need anyone's help with the following:
(1) What years did Mission Bay VW operate before they became City Cheverolet and VW by the Bay since 1990?
(2) What years did Wolff Motors, on Garnett Ave, Pacific Beach, CA operate?
(3) Has anyone ever heard of or have any information on Pacific View Motors on Garnett in Pacific Beach, CA?
(4) How were Wolff Motors and Mission Bay VW related? Did Wolff motors close and relocate to Mission Bay?
Aside from being a Historian, I happen to have a 62 Notchback which was purchased in 1962 at Pacific View Motors, and I have maintenance records stamped by Wolff Motors. The Type 3 1500 sedan were never exported to U.S. markets.
I called City Chevy/VW, and talked to this person and that person until I was able to talk to somebody who was supposed to have the answers and he knew diddley squat. So in lieu of going to thru the City archives, I thought I would take a shot here. Thank you all. _________________ '62 golfblau Typ 311 Limousine

Roger that, thanks.
Would a grey-market car like the VW 1500 be imported to the US through San Diego imports?
Maybe somebody can shed some light on this. _________________ '62 golfblau Typ 311 Limousine
