Hello everyone!

I've recently had some problems that I think may be attributable to a bad double relay. Specifically, the bus will stall and shut off after just a few minutes of driving, and needs about 5-10 minutes before it will start again. Also, the engine has a tough time starting.

I've decided to test the double relay. Unfortunately, my Bently manual will be inaccessible for the next week. This is my first foray into the world of electrical work, so please bear with me...

1. When testing the double relay voltage, do you simply plug the harnesses into the double relay and follow the wires with the multimeter leads into the back of the plastic caps?

2. If I'm supposed to test it another way, how do I do it?

3. Is there anything else I should know about testing this?

Thanks a lot!

Perhaps I wasn't specific enough; I've thoroughly read everything posted so far, but I need to know the physical procedure of where to place the multimeter leads. Do they go into the back of the plastic plug while it's all plugged in and the ignition is on?
