I need heat tubes on my type 4 that go from the fan to the heater boxes, I also need the tubes that go underneath the van. Any suggestions on alternatives to these tubes. I do not have time to order them cause I am leaving on monday on a trip and was wondering if anyone had done this.

I used a aluminum tube I got from a Volvo shop. I bent it to shape and used a hose clam on the box side.

Kind of late for me to post this if you're leaving tomorrow, but the flexible tubing that runs from the exaust manifold to the air cleaner of most carbureted 70's and up water cooled cars is the same material. Try a generic parts store (Auto Zone/Kragen/Pep Boys, etc.) and see if they can cross match the diameter. Since the length can be cut, it isn't critical as long as it isn't too short.
