Just noticed my drivers side door is missing this. Any suggestions on where to get it? I mean the actual threaded rod. What is the correct name for it?

If the door had been replaced in the past , it may have been a convertible door with coupe hardware in which case someone would have had to drill the hole.

Ate you sure about this? ^^^^

The top mount lock was 67 through 70.

Convertibles and Coupes used the same doors and internals. The glass is different because the rear edge is different because of the folding top.

No I'm not. Mine's a 71 and has one original convertible door and one coupe door. I didn't know earlier ones were different.

They changed the doors at the beginning of the 1971 model year.

Here is the proper hole for that rod.

BTW the rods are the same, left and right, 1967-1970
