Help me create a jump seat with storage.
I have the below seats and folding tray. I want to take these parts and create a jump seat with storage for my Multivan.
I never take out the seat behind the driver. My batteries take a lot of room under the rear seat. I don't like loose stuff.
I would lke to put the tray shown on this new seat too.
The double seat could be cut in half and the tray added.
The early seat box could be modified somehow to include the original jump seat.
The gray box would need matching fabric transferred.
Any body got ideas or done this before??????

Sorry to go a little off topic but..
What seat is this from and what is the height of the interior of the box?
I'm doing the same thing with a weekender seat base and a modified westy fifth seat with no head rest. My goal is to have the seat base open like the original weekender seat (separate from the seat back) and have the seat back completely removeable when the passenger seat is swivelled 180 degrees to act as a nice lounge chair.
Still working out a way to have the seat back remove easily.... |

I did something similar with my baywindow

The nice thing about having the swivel platform welded to the top of the internal steel frame of the cabinet is that the seat slides right off like in the front. I also built a matching accessory cabinet with seat rails on the bottom of it, as well as a separate 3" green plaid seat pad with seat rails on it. These are interchangeable with the jump seat depending on need or passenger load.
