I'm looking at having to replace my automatic transmission with a GoWesty transmission. I have a 1987 vanagon here in San Diego. Unfortunately my obligations to kids and family preclude my doing this myself. I'm looking for any input on shops in San Diego... please feel free to PM me or post a reply.
Regards

Peter at San Diego Westy saved our asses on a tank reseal back in 2011. I was impressed with his demeanour and the quality of his work. Nice guy.

Is there anything worse than being broken down with a complex Vanagon problem? Yes, there is. That plus being 1300 miles from your trusted mechanic! You have found the right place to get your VW fixed! Jack and his team solved my problem! They properly diagnosed, repaired and restored my Westy to a reliable runner. They did it cost effectively, under estimate and before promised! Now I have a different problem! I am 1300 miles from my trusted repair shop...

I would trust BRU Automotive and Jack's Team to fix any issue anytime! They have experience, skills and knowledge that is very hard to find anymore!

Pure Class, Mark.

We talked with you in Lake Havasu about wiring our gauges but ran out of time. Hope to give you some biz, someday. Very Happy
