That same rocker type pump is an off the shelf item at your local Camping World. I am not sure of the check valve. Is that to keep the line primed? _________________ Home of the one true split Bus Motorhome |

That pump is similar but is not the same. It is not correct. The one I posted is correct.
The check valve prevents you from having to pump half a dozen times just to get water to start coming out. |

I cannot edit my original post but for the sake of adding a data point, our 67 model was a very early one--Sept 6 of 66, without the backup lights etc. |

I think they used different faucets back and forth throughout production. I'm sure they had multiple suppliers and used whatever they had on hand at the time.
My Westy is a very late '66 (June '66) and had the chrome paddle faucet. |

Heres one from my 71. Maybe the same for a 66 or 67. This one I found on e-gay for somewhere around $20 bucks new. All the ones like this have the check valve so buy the second pump you get water. I liked the flat white handle. Also the screw holes matched up.

I think you guys all have the right years with the flapper and Heidi's is a '66 in the wrong year bus. Someone must've switched out the reefer. I do remember in og Westys of the late '65 to '67 era having a little plastic bowl that sat on the reefer side table and a clear hose going down from the faucet. I put one on because that was how I remembered them and the dribble ends up outside. Any manuals verify this or was it a personal touch? |

There are two suppliers of these type of pumps in the U.S. One is Valterra, which uses a round handle, is more widely available, and is not correct. The second one is "Model 810" and is sold by a number of suppliers under a generic name. You should be able to find it using a Google search using "RV Rocker pump 810". Best price I could find is about $34. It is exactly correct.
Here is the one for sale right now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HAND-ROCKER-PUMP-CH....m20.l1116

There are two suppliers. One makes the flat chrome paddle one (can't remember the mfr, but it's the one on ebay) and Valterra makes one with a round lever which is not correct.

Price is ridiculous. Once you identify it, you should be able to find it for less elsewhere. |
Thanks Major Woody
Thats the exact one im after as my original is a bit pitted & the arm has a slight bend in it , having a look around it looks like im going to have to buy in the US & not the UK |

My '67 Westy interior has the pump in the lower of the two original photos.

They are slotted oval head wood screws. I don't have a photo but since the head is all that you see, you should have little difficulty finding something that would work |
