It's never good to sell up on a project but it's understandable. Just don't do that post mortem of tallying up all the receipts on the build. Your labor is free of course 😊. Where is the classified? |
Classified add goes up after I finish the " BEFORE " side and paint the top half of the vehicle Indian red ; purple isn't the most saleable color.... |
Just park it up outside the Pinellas Park branch of the Minnesota Vikings supporters club and you'll be all set.
Speaking of purple. Where did your love of the color come from? |

I thought I should check in and let the VW world know that it is finally cooling off in Florida and I will have a chance to get back to this project .
The red van has been great for camping overnight on several out of the area jobs .
I need to finish the Type 6 . _________________ 63 two fold rag

Welcome back GP. We haven't heard from ya in a long time. I for one was a bit worried for your welfare. I'm glad that you are ok and hopefully in good health.
Missed ya! _________________ I have learned over the years.

Pete, just got off the horn with Desertbusdude. We were wondering about you, we talked about the type 6, or type 7 as he likes to call it. |

Like the color combo much better than before. My only criticism has been the placement of the rear bumper. It looks so out of place in position and style, but otherwise I love it. _________________ 1960 Indigo Blue Ragtop (Blue Barry)

I am truly blown away by the level of progress here. Quite simply amazing! Going back to the first pics in this thread, I like the consistency of having the same period bumpers, but it's not my car nor do I have the skills to do what's happening on these pages. Does it also need some air vents in the back to keep that motor cool? The car looks set for a neat wooden rack and a business name on the side.
To save some dough, have you considered tagging the car on an antique tag? I want to say that is a wee bit cheaper. |
