Though no comparison to Texas barbecue this is a good place in NJ. Where else are you going to get an all you can eat BBQ buffet for $15.75?

Hot Dog Johnny’s. In Butzzville N.J. We would stop there on the way home from scout camp every summer.

Inland Pacific Kitchen. My brother in law is the working chef (not the owner), so I'm a little biased. Most of the menu is him. They change the menu 3-5 times a year. They are by far the most progressive restaurant in Spokane. My brother in law's ice creams are just stupid good. He makes a sweet pea ice cream that I'd kill anybody in here for just a bite of.

Been to both locations: I prefer Middletown New Jersey location. Got some wings and some fried chicken at both spots.

Updated..

Found a couple road tripin'

Cafe Old Vienna
1604 N Kings Hwy
Myrtle Beach, SC

Food and beer were outstanding.. and even though its a tourist trap SC shore town.. I went in the off season and the place was packed.
Lots of fun.. authentic German Austrian atmosphere

Hook and Barrel
8014 N Kings Hwy B
Myrtle Beach, SC

A little upscale but not too over the top..

Had the Seafood tower .. appetizer.. and it was enough for two..

Eh... A couple of restaurants by the same owners are perfectly fine IMO.

Chain = Multiple cites and states/territories same menu same food.

Nati's Mexican Restaurant. Opened in 1960 and was our all time favorite restaurant. It closed earlier this year. It's the first restaurant I can remember ever going to. It was our family's go to place growing up. Not only my family, but my wife's family as well. Vern, the restaurant owner, use to carry my future wife in one arm as he walked around the room refilling coffee cups with the other arm. I quit going there when I move out of the area, but when ever the family got together we would go there. It's the restaurant my wife and I had our first date at. It was the place we took our friends from out of town, it was the place we would see friends and their parents. The staff knew us by their nickname. They were our extended family. It's gone now and we miss it. There are plenty other Mexican places to eat, but none will feel like home like Nati's did.

Fish... its places like that .. that I used to frequent.. and have also closed .. often times I want to hang up the wrenches and open one back up..

Looking around.. no matter the economy .. most food joints are still packed tight..
